You guys, I could not stop salivating after seeing these cookies!!!!
One of my favorite foodie bloggers, Sally from Sally’s Baking Addiction, created this awesome mixture of snickerdoodle cookies with a caramel “filling.” Snickerdoodles are probably the easiest cookies to make ever and to add this twist would definitely make it seem like you spent hours in the kitchen over these.
Did I ever tell you I especially love caramel? Caramel over chocolate ANY DAY.
If you’re not following her, please do so! She has so many great recipes for desserts and dinner. Check out the full recipe for these cookies!
Psst! By the way, this is my 100th post! What a sweet post to celebrate with (corny pun, yes but worth it)!
I apologize for being a little late for Foodie Friday! Before the craziness of the Saturday life begin, I want to share Serene’s quick and easy recipe from House of Yumm: Bacon Bourbon Meatballs.
As you can tell by the picture, these look awesome!! This dish will get the people talking. Especially with the added kick of bourbon 😉 . What a great last-minute recipe for those upcoming barbecues. Check out how to make it here!
Enjoy your weekend!
Last night just about an hour before the NBA Finals, I craved for a sweet snack. Something quick and easy. And with available ingredients. I only had graham crackers, chocolate chips and pecans, among other staple ingredients (sugar, brown sugar, flour, etc). S’mores would have been perfect if I had marshmallows! To my desperation, I went to Pinterest and found this awesome dessert Continue reading
Have you ever had a memorable pizza experience? Like, it was the best pizza you ever had and you are ready to spend all your money to buy two or three of them? Yeah, that’s me thinking about this pizza I had last month when I visited Ohio for a few days. Continue reading
As you can see, I’m still on a burger theme this Foodie Friday. Maybe it’s because grilling season is here and I’ve been to a few barbecues already? Maybe because I’m anxious for a new burger to try?
In any case, I rediscovered a yummy vegan black bean burger recipe from my friend Brown Veggie Mom (also known as Cherri). Remember Cherri from this post about her blog? Yup, same one. 🙂 Continue reading
A little late with this Foodie Friday post, but just in time for dinner! 🙂 As mentioned before, I love salmon! I found the perfect quick Friday night recipe by Half Baked Harvest: Blackened Salmon Burgers with Herbed Cream Cheese. Doesn’t it look wonderful? Continue reading
I promise you, I’m really not much of a drinker.
I enjoy a few drinks here and there but not crazy with it. More of a “light social drinker” if you want to call it that. But these two recipes I found have little to do with alcohol except that they are shaped like shot glasses. Now answer this: how many shot glasses have you had that are edible?
These dessert “shot glasses” are bound to be a conversation starter at your next party. Cheri from The Watering Mouth makes these from marshmallows and chocolate liqueur (or you can use chocolate milk for non-drinkers/kiddos):
Yum, I love how easy it is to make. Just two ingredients!
The next is a Milk and Chocolate Chip Cookie “Shot” – a DIY version by Brandi, inspired by Chef Dominique Ansel:
Such a great idea for milk and cookie lovers! I would love to see variations of this cookie shot: maybe Chocolate-Chocolate Chip or Sugar cookie? Surely it would be fun to make!
